As a result of the Dec. 6, 2023, Sustainable Infrastructure Panel hosted at the French pavilion at the Conference of the Parties 28 (COP 28), Finance to Accelerate the Sustainable Transition – the Blue Dot Network (BDN) and Infrastructure (FAST-Infra) are pleased to announce their plans to collaborate and cooperate in their efforts to offer innovative solutions that will catalyze private sector investment in quality, sustainable, and climate-resilient infrastructure projects.
In August 2022, the FAST-Infra Group was born, the fruit of more than a year’s reflection with global stakeholders from the financial sector. The aim is to accelerate the financing of sustainable infrastructure worldwide.
In the realm of sustainable infrastructure financing, the FAST-Infra Label represents a substantial stride forward rather than a mere emblem. It signifies concrete positive sustainability performance in projects.
The 28th Conference of the Parties on Climate Change (COP 28) will take place in Dubai from November 30 to December 12, 2023. FAST-Infra Group is taking part in a number of events to promote the FAST-Infra label. We look forward to seeing you there !
The FAST-Infra Platform aims to support all stakeholders in the origination, development, financing re-financing and deployment of sustainable infrastructure programs. It will address the needs of the sustainable infrastructure investors and lenders, and help project developers to find the right partners.
François Bergere, CEO of FAST-Infra Group, went to Cartagena (Colombia) to participate in the Finance in Common forum which took place from September 4 to 6, 2023, with more than 1,300 participants. During the round table co-organized with CDP “Using private investment as a lever for sustainable infrastructure”, he presented the different FAST-Infra tools, such as the fast infra Label and the digital collaborative platform.
His visit to Cartagena was an opportunity to meet various heads of public financial institutions and invite them to join FIG to accelerate the financing of sustainable infrastructure.

COP28 will be held from November 30 to December 12, 2023 in Dubai. Chaired by Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, also Chairman of Masdar, this new international climate meeting aims to implement the results of the Paris Agreement in a highly pragmatic way.
